Came across this news from Taiwan news channel. The video clip is in Mandarin but this is what happened in summary. A police officer noticed a black shiba was walking and barking outside of the police station. He opened the door and the shiba came in barking non stop and running around. The police officer noticed the dog was injured but still running around non stop. 2 hours later, two male came to the police station. Apparently, they were met a car accident and the dog was in the vehicle. It seems like the shiba is trying to alert the police officer unfortunately the message was not able to deliver across.
Wow, that was pretty interesting! Esp as we see the dog's person (I guess that's the dog person?) come in limping! Smart dog to go the police station, but too bad the cops didn't understand! Hope everyone is ok!
Cute attempt T_T I believe there are a lot of similar stories like this that happen in Japan during the Earthquakes/Tsunami. I saw it on animal planet....honestly thats what got me interested in Shibas! But I know any dog could have done the same :)
My Shibas, I'm afraid, would not be terribly concerned if I were injured unless there was food involved! My Akita might be more concerned, but that would likely involve licking me, and possibly standing on me to be able to better lick my face, which of course would likely add to my injuries.
holy crap spunds familiar,a couple months ago i was out late at night walking brewster and heard a "thump" and thpught nothing of it,people jump curbs all the time in my area..so brewster began pulling and barking in that direction...sure enough a poor girl was hit by a car and the driver was trying to flee ... well it made locaal papers that myself nd brewster are heros because when i got there the girl who was hit was in shock (her heart stopped beating and wasnt breathing) i administered cpr and she came to..and brewster snuggled with her until the ambulance arrived...if he didnt make a fuss i wouldve thought a deer was hit or just a hopped curb
i accredit the deed o him...i work 4pm-midnight and sometimes dont get home till 130am so when i walk hum when i get home its strictly so he can pee/poop before he has to sleep for 8 hrs so im usually in a "eh whatever i wanna go lay down" mood...i feel bad sayin this but people hit deer all the time here and i probably wouldve went home and went to bed if he wasnt so adament on going over
he also made a friend...we see the girl who was hit once or twice a week while on walks and she stops and thanks him and he is more than happy to accept the lovins :)
