What... I would never have a dog wear something like that. Too much incentive to steal the dog.

I like my version of an "armour" collar. Cost me like, .25 cents to make.

WOW If someone has that much money to spend on their dog for just a collar ...

Admittedly very pretty, but if I had that type of money to spend, it'd probably go to me and the family before jewelry for the dog.

Nalah doesn't like wearing a dog collar unfortunately. Ever since a pup, she would alway scratch and scratch her collar area due to the dog collar. I was so scared she might start bleeding, or infect her skin that I took off her collar. So since then, I haven't had a collar on her, only a dog harness. But I am looking at the idea again and considering to have her wear one again soon.

I'd never buy this for Saya I love her, but this not worth it she's a rugged shiba queen ready to rumble! I'll admit it's neat looking, but not worth it. Rather use the $ towards vet, food or myself..

Here's Saya's fancy collar leather with hearts on it. they're upside down didn't notice before taking picture. I think it looks much cooler on her then jewels..

I think what cracks me up the most is the chihuahua who's modeling it. Um, if you can afford buy that necklace, than you should also be able to afford a dog food that doesn't cause brown tear stains LOL.

Sweet Chainmail collar, you should make those and sell them! You could easily make a killing
  • @Losech, that collar is great! And what a much more regal and attractive model it is on, compared to those others.

I was feeling kind of bad about my doggie prejudices, but I kept thinking, my god, why are these collars on chihuahuas! One of my least favorite dogs. I'm not crazy about Papillons either, but they are preferable to the the chihuahuas.

im a fan of leather collars, they look good on a shiba and with limited knowlege , if it doesnt fit (ie.too big) you can simply punch a hole in the correct spot and trim it as needed im planning on doing that with brewster when he grows out of the tiny nylon collar we got him as a pup which i think will be soon cuz at 5 months old he seems to grow everytime i leave the house!

I agree leather collar is nice Saya's looks great on her I have her wear it for dog walks or special events. I got it nice and tight so it can't slip off of her.

Wow, 3.2 millions dollars (or was it euro's, even worse)

I'm sure the puppy royalty that receives one of these would be just as happy with a $10 collar. If you've got that much money to blow it could do a lot more good as a donation to programs like the Best Friends Animal Society. It makes me sad to think that so many are euthanized for no better a reason that a lack of want, yet another dog could receive such excess.

@knnwang I love that your dog can use the internet. I wish my cat would learn to use the internet so that she can stop sleeping all day and get a job! ;-)
