What is your guys' suggestions on how to find breeders in your area? I've looked at a couple of places, but can't seem to find any breeders in Utah except Hitorq but they won't return my emails. Also what is the average pet price for a Shiba I've seen differing amounts to the point that I don't know what I should be looking for.
We've got a couple of threads on how to find good breeders, which also include tips on how to find breeders. Basically, you'll probably have to go to out of state, and there is no reason not to, really, because what is most important is that you find the best possible dog for you from the best possible breeder.
I looked for breeders within driving distance of where I live (which I interpreted as anywhere in the western US) when I got my Akita pup. We ended up driving to Oregon (from NM) to get him.
