I watched Sword of the stranger anime movie.. I loved it coarse I love samurai type movies and anime plus minor character is a shiba is nice.. One tough shiba! Kicks butt. haha

It is a bit violent, but if your into samurai movies it's pretty good anime to watch in my book..

I need to watch the Japanese language of it next for more authentic feel.

Once I get my second dog if it's a red one I'm going to have him/her wear a red scarf like the shiba on the movie did. :D

I don't buy much things for myself so glad I splurged and gotten it. I met one of the voice actors on it too pretty cool his voice is pretty distinct.

I do need a calendar might get a shiba rescue calendar? It'll be handy for writing down what Saya ate each day along with writing it online.. Plus I get to see cute shiba inu. :)

I am not sure where you can buy this, but I got it from my brother, who got it when his son was born. His wife didn't want it since it didn't match her china, so he asked me before giving it to Goodwill. I've had this for about five years, way before I got a shiba. It was a plate by Noritake to commemorate the Year of the Dog. I guess if you want one, you have to either search ebay or wait a few more years. ;) Come to think of it, there were several shiba/akita/nihonken dog items in the beginning of the year of the dog in Japan.

I guess this would count as a gift! I know I mentioned it before.. I'm a sculpture artist. I made these little Shiba figures and just started casting them. I just painted these two examples last week.

@Saya I would be happy to do one for you! Feel free to poke at me here or email me when you want one. I don't know how long I'll be making them, as eventually the molds wear down and the original sculpture was destroyed when making the mold. :/

So when you say advertising not allowed. That just means advertising your own items? Or is it not OK to post items like I have been?

I like stuff like etsy or people who make their own figures especially shiba and other Nihon ken since you don't see that too often.

@Saya - Advertising your own stuff, or advertising/soliciting really anything that will somehow net you a personal gain (not necessarily a monetary gain). The stuff you have been posting is fine.
