Winter Weather & Dry Skin
Hello! Hansel is really starting to scratch himself a lot. Almost to the point where he breaks his skin and causes himself to bleed. Ive noticed it especially around his neck and his legs. He will begin to nip at his legs to the point where his fur is gone and his skin is red. Its winter time here in Ohio and its been very cold and dry. Is this just a case of hotspots? and if so how should it be treated? Are there any remedies so that Hansel can be itch free? He's on tick/flea medicine too, So Ive cancelled out the possibility of that.
