Adoption in OH
  • Hello, I'm looking to adopt a rescue shiba near Cincinnati, OH. Does anyone know?

    There is Tri-state Shiba Inu Rescue and Safe Harbor that I know of. I'm on the west coast, so I don't know much about them. Someone more knowledgeable might come along and tell you more.

    Tri State Shiba Inu Rescue is in Ohio but my experience with them is somewhat unpleasant. They're rather unresponsive towards emails or messages of the sorts. I can understand being busy because they run a rescue but I was talking to the owner of TSSIR about adopting a dog they had, he got adopted, they never posted it on their page or replied to my emails. :/ Rather disappointing honestly.

    There's also Safe Harbor Animal Rescue in Vermillion, OH.
