Shibas on the River

    Hi!

My boyfriend and I like to go floating in the Spring and Summer. We are good with a canoe. We would love to be able to bring our Ursa a long, but safety is a concern. We want to make sure she feels safe and stays in the boat. We have been told it is a big no-no to leash a dog inside the canoe because if the boat flips, she could get trapped underneath. We want to include our pup in our camping/floating plans, but not if it puts her at any severe risk.

Has anyone taken their shiba floating? Thoughts? Tips?

A doggie life vest will be absolutely necessary.
