Toy Basket [easy to do]

    Hello everybody!

    Today I will show you why I so like damaged / discounted things that cost pennies.

    One day I got an amazing bargain from Home Sense (UK). This basket cost £9.99 when it was in mint condition. As you can see in the picture it was missing some rings and didn't look the best when I bought it home (for £0.50 by the way).


    What I did was took my heavy duty kitchen scissors and cut off all the rings. I painted places where paint chipped with paint I got as 'free sampler' for a neater look.

    I wanted to personalise it, so I made 'Ūla' from spare threads and glued it to basket with a hot glue gun.

    The final result looked like this:
