Last Thursday, I gave Kitsune her first dose of Advantix for the season. Since then she has had a drippy nose and sneezing. Also, she has been moping around and doesn't want to play with either Kuma or myself. I gave her Advantix last year and there was no reaction like this. Is it possible that she has a bad reaction to Advantix now or does she have a cold?
I did some research and found out that Kitsune has been reverse sneezing. In the article it said that if the sneezing was frequent enough there could be nasal mites. Has anyone heard of such? Kitsune is going to the vet tomorrow even though she is a little bit better but we want to be on the safe side since we have 2 dogs.
Severus has been hacking or choking randomly like he has some mucus in his throat. Also been sneezing a lot lately with a running nose and discharge from his eyes.=/http://severusthesupershiba.tumblr.com/
On Tuesday I took Kitsune to the vet and the Dr. said if she continued her sneezing to give her some Benadryl. As it turned out Kitsune was back to her normal playful self on Wednesday morning. I didn't even give her a Benadryl. Has anyone else had their dog get a high temperature (104) normal (101), after car trip? That is what happened when the Dr. took her temperature. Luckily it went down on its own in about 30 minutes.
